XR Shrewsbury and Shrewsbury Town Council are fighting back against climate crisis & species loss by co-creating a garden that inspires Dingle visitors to think about the impact of the climate emergency.

XR member Dougald Purce has created a brilliant design, Shrewsbury Town Council (who plan to be Carbon neutral by 2030), locals and XR members provided plants and person power.

There will be interpretation boards about XR, climate emergency & extinction crisis and a greenhouse made from re-purposed plastic bottles.

The garden will raise the profile of our current climate emergency and help to inspire action. XR Shrewsbury continue to build a positive relationship with Shrewsbury Town Council and we hope to inspire Shropshire Council to be more ambitious in their action on the climate emergency.
