Funded by the European Union‘s Horizon 2020 programme, the Seas, Oceans and Public Health in Europe project (SOPHIE) is helping to build new research capacity for the emerging scientific discipline of Oceans and Human Health. Amongst many other things, SOPHIE is nurturing a network of people and organisations interested in the links between oceans and human health, and exploring how marine tourism and citizen science can contribute to this exciting area of research.

SOPHIE is doing research on the connections between the Oceans and human health. If you have recently spent time engaging in an activity by the coast or at sea, your observations and experience during that day are very valuable for such research. Thank you for taking the time to fill in this survey to share this information! Your help is much appreciated and will contribute to nurture actions in support of Ocean conservation.
